Many changes since I last posted. Hannah Louise Weir was born on her great grandmother Geraldine Louise Weirs' birthday April 14, 2008. She was 10 Lbs 12 oz and 23 and 1/4 inches long. She let the world know she had arrived with loud clear crying (and one foot up in the air from being breech.) She lost over a pound but is back up over the 10 Lb mark again.

She is a beautiful precious gift from our heavenly Father. Much welcomed and cherished by her family.

Hi
It's been a little while since I've posted. Baby will be here any time from now until mid April. ( Only the Lord knows) The kids are great, going to Awanas, church, the skate park and fun little places like the Missoula Carousel. We also have lots of opportunitiues to go on field trips.
We all miss our family and friends very much. We miss the nice weather too. It's been six months already I can't believe it!
I hope you enjoy the pictures. Love Stephanie

Help!
I cry out to the Lord for the umpteenth time. There's dishes to be done, a dirty floor, math, language and laundry. Not to mention I should look half way decent when my husband comes strolling through the door.
Just another day in the life of a homeschooling mother of five. Soon to be six."How do you do it?' I hear alot. I think of the verse " I lift up my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, maker of heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber.
He who keeps Isreal shall neither slumber nor sleep." Psalm 121:1-4

The Lord is not sleeping when I cry out to Him for help. Neither is He ever off duty, He's always there..kind of like being a mom. Except He sticks closer than a brother.
He told Joshua, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." That is very comforting to me. Just because I feel the boat rocking and the waves crashing does not mean I am alone. The Lord is my Shepard. I need to just "be still and know He is God." I also need to remember that He allows stressful, sometimes painful situations to come into my life in order to try me or test me as fire tries gold in order to purify it. The question then becomes how do I react?

Life is a constant flow of choices either to live righteously before Him, or to deny Him with my actions. The Bible tells us to "choose this day whom you will serve ." We all know that actions speak louder than words. The same goes for our walk with God. Will I choose to walk out my faith or merely talk about it?
Jesus called the Pharisees 'white washed tombs' and 'hypocrites'. They would say one thing but inwardly there was the stench of death about them.
So many times when I have reacted to a situation in the flesh I feel like these guys. I want to get out of my flesh, peal it off and put on the robe of righteousness. I want to stand before my Lord a clean bride.
The Bible says that all we like sheep have gone astray we have turned everyone to his own way. We will not ever be completely without sin in this lifetime. But we can choose to either deny Him , knowing what He requires of us on a daily basis. Or serve Him whole heartedly leaving my weaknesses and shortcomings in His hands, for when I am weak He is strong!
True growth comes when I learn to accept the good with the bad. Job told his wife, "Shall we accept good from the Lord and not evil?" Meaning, those things which bother us, rub us the wrong way, or even torment us can and will if we let them be used for our purification or our benefit as we allow the Lord to work in us "that which is well pleasing in His sight."
Does He call us to be perfect? No, not in that sense, He calls us to be yeilding, moldable, pliable, like a piece of clay.
Paul said this, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." Think of it this way, when I die to the selfish desires of my flesh, whatever it may be, and take up my cross and follow Him, I gain, I win! I win the sweetness of a life hidden in Christ Jesus. Being in Christ is being alive!

Hi all,
We have officially been in -06 degree weather! Wow! It is very beautiful here. We are getting plugged in at church and are adjusting.
The kids play in the snow like its a giant sand box. It has warmed up this week to around 30 so its nice.
Baby is getting big and Matthew is running out of lap space. Everyone is wondering when he/she will come.
We hope to be out for a visit end of June for Kenny & Daniel's wedding and want to see everyone! So save us some floor space.
Love from us! Jason & Steph
